Home Energy Reports Brisbane

The idea is simple, but important – to reduce the carbon omissions of our homes and promote a brighter, more environmentally friendly future.

We’ve all heard of the impact climate change is having on our environment. Every one of us leaves a carbon footprint on the world around us, but it’s up to us to decide how big this footprint is.

While the public is more aware than ever on the importance of reducing greenhouse gas emissions, the understanding of the products, technologies and methods to help achieve this is new to most and overwhelming for many. This is the reason the Green Loans program was introduced.

The Household Sustainability Report is a Government initiative to help tackle climate change by helping Australian families decide which best sustainability actions to take.

This Initiative:

  • provides households the chance to modify their existing homes to reduce their environmental impact
  • provides FREE household sustainability assessments for water and energy efficient resources and technologies
  • allows households to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions

Please NOTE:
The initiative is not available to all households. To check your eligibility, click here.

What does this mean for me?

A FREE subsidised Home Sustainability Assessment conducted in your home, including a tailored Assessment Report worth $250

As accredited Household Sustainability Assessors’, we are qualified to conduct assessments to instruct you on the best ways to reduce your home’s greenhouse gas emissions. During a consultation, we’ll discuss your current water and electricity use and technologies and advise on how better these could be used, along with other, more efficient, technologies available. These recommendations will be outlined in an Assessment Report.

Another major incentive for taking part in the Household Sustainability Assessment is the benefit it has on Sustainability Declarations if you decide to sell your property in the future.

Any work undertaken and technologies installed as part of the program may count towards sustainability improvements on the form.

However, its important to mention, that the FREE Household Sustainability assessment is a Federal Government initiative which looks at sustainability at the national level and does not form part of the “sustainability declarations” which are required by law in Queensland.

They may compliment each other but the two are completely separate programs.

Please note:
We are not here to pass judgment on your current water and energy use, simply to help you make your home more efficient, environmentally friendly and ultimately save money.
